Eating For Your Yoga Practice

Yoga Practice Beneficial Rules:

○ All types of fruit. Fresh and whole food.
○  All vegetables. Exemption of too much onions and garlic.
○  Whole grains. Particularly rice, wheat, and oats.
○  Beans in moderation.
○  Nuts and seeds.
○  Plant-based oils.
○  Dairy products from well treated cows.
○  Natural sugars.
○  Sweet spices: ginger, cinnamon, cardamom, fennel, cumin, coriander, turmeric, mint, basil, and fenugreek.
○  Herbal teas or natural waters (including lemon or lime).
○  Food prepared with love and consciousness.

Yoga Practice Avoidance Rule:

○  Meat, fish, and eggs.
○  Artificial processed foods.
○  Canned foods.
○  Poor quality oils.
○  Dairy for factory farms.
○  Spicy foods including garlic and onions.
○  Fried foods.
○  Artificial sweeteners.
○  Overgly cooked foods.
○  Alcohol, tobacco, or stimulants.
○  Microwave cooking.
○  Genetically engineered food items.
○  Food taken in a disturbed environment.
○  Eating too quickly.
